�Aj <br />Selectmen's Meeting Minutes <br />February 26, 1996 <br />A regular meeting of the Board of Selectmen was held on Monday, February 26, 1995 in the <br />Selectmen's Meeting Room, Town Office Building at 7:30 p. m. Chairman McSweeney, Mr. <br />Dailey, Mr. Busa, Mr. Fenn, Mrs. Bddison; Mr. white, Town Manager; ss <br />r; and Ms. Smith, Executive Clerk, were present. <br />Traffic S afety Advisory Committee <br />Peter Ghalpin, Chairman of the Traffic Safety Advisory Committee reported on several traffic <br />matters brought before the Traffic Safety Advisory Committee at its meeting on December 13, <br />1995. <br />willards woods - No <br />The Committee met with Ms. Blaine Adler of 3 Sunny Knoll Terrace to discuss her request for a <br />no parking regulation on North Street at the path to and from w woods. It is clear that vehicles p arked y pp q p ac t he beg nni i ngofthe <br />path effective) prevent people from using the <br />p effectively p p g path to enter and leave willard's woods. p <br />Upon motion duly made and seconded, it was voted to approve the recommendation of the <br />Traffic Safety Committee that two no parking signs, with directional arrows, be installed. <br />GrasslandNalleyfield/Brid.cze Street Speeding <br />The Committee met with Mr. Francis Russo of 62 Grassland Street to discuss his concerns of <br />speeding in the Grassland /valleyfield/B Street neighborhood. The Committee agrees that <br />these streets are used to by --pass the Waltham Street/Marrett Road intersection and traffic has <br />increased over the years. In recent years the Board approved recommendations of the Committee <br />for stop signs on valleyf eld at Bridge Street, a yield sign on Grassland Street at valleyfield Street <br />and a one -way regulation on Bridge Street at Spring Street. The Committee believes that all <br />reasonable options of regulations_ and signing have been implemented and recommend, based on <br />manpower availability, increased police enforcement in the neighborhood. <br />Upon motion duly made and seconded, it was voted to approve the recommendation of the <br />Traffic Safety Advisory Committee. <br />a <br />
