Accountants in which they <br />Cemetery stated that the Cemetery Trust Funds should be placed <br />funds. in the _hands of the town, and the funds paid through <br />the 'Town Treasurer. <br />Mr. Nichols stated that he was informed by the <br />Secretary of the Cemetery Commissioners that this could <br />be done and it was left with the Chairman to communicate <br />with the Cemetery Commissioners to see if they would <br />make arrangdments to have the funds paid in accordance <br />with the instructions of the State Accountants.' <br />Water List of outstanding.accounts of Section 3 water <br />rates. rates was presented to the Board. <br />Letter was received from the Supt. of Public Works <br />in which he stated that he had a request from the <br />Gas. Co. Lexington Oras Company for permission to construct a <br />re Gover- new pit for the governor in that part of the street <br />nor. between Grant Street and the right of way to the rear <br />of thi Edison sub -section, on Mass. Avenue. <br />he Supt. recommended that this be allowed to insure <br />adequate service for the users in this Town. The Board <br />voted to grant permission, and called attention to the <br />fact that the Edison Company should be consulted about <br />the matter to see whether or not they desired to do any <br />work on their property before this was done. <br />Letter was received from Willard C. Hill in which <br />he enclosed an insurance policy covering insurance on <br />the Adams School addition. He stated that he was <br />placing this $50,000. additional fire insurance at the <br />request of Mr. James Stuart Smith. He explained that <br />they now carry $106,000. insuranceon this building, <br />and this will make a total of $156,000. in all. -The <br />insurance has been written for .28 rate, but this <br />will be reduced later on when sprinklers are installed. <br />Insurance Mr. Custance reported that the rate has been <br />established for the Franklin School and that the <br />schedule may be revised at an early date. <br />Mr. Custance also called attention to the fact <br />that if $16,000. or $18,000. were spent on the High <br />School putting in the sprinkler system, they would save <br />about $12,000. insurance each year on this building. <br />He felt that this should be done. <br />Letter was received from Mr. Robert H. Holt, <br />Attorney for Mrs. Delia Mulvey, 15 Boston Ave., West <br />Medford, relative to the order of the Board to have <br />bathrooms installed at 2, 10, 12, 14, 16, 18 and 20 <br />'Mulvey Mine Street, and the rear of 20 Woburn Street. He <br />(property• stated that he understood there was no sewer in Vine <br />Street, and he was also uhable to find anything in <br />the Statutes or the -Board of Health Regulations that <br />justifies the orddr. <br />The Health Inspector is in communication with <br />Mr. Wrightington's office to endeavor to find what <br />legal authority the Board has in making this order. <br />The matter therefor, was laid upon the table for the <br />1 <br />C <br />
