Politi read a letter from the Lexington Arts Council reques t- <br />Appt s . ing expansion of the Council from 5 to 8 members, as allowed under the `' <br />Mass. Arts Lottery Council's statute. The letter, .noting increased <br />work load of the Council, also contained recommendations on appointment <br />of three new members , and the candidates' qualif ications for member- <br />ship. <br />Upon motion duly made and seconded, it was voted to approve expan- <br />sion of the membership of the Lexington Council for the Arts from five <br />to eight members, as requested by the Council. <br />Upon motion duly made and seconded, it was voted to appoint the <br />following members to the Lexington Council for the Ants for terms of <br />office to expire on May 31, 1986: <br />Maryanne Armstrong 34 Robinson Road <br />Nancy-Langstaff 9 Burlington Street <br />Robert Koff 18 D emar Road <br />Norton St. The Town Manager noted the Selectmen's January 38 vote to r ecom- <br />Layout mend unfavorable action on acceptance of Norton Street. He informed the <br />Board of contact with the Postal Service and progress with resolution of <br />mail delivery problems reported by residents. Mr. Hutchinson requested <br />the Board's decision on the laying out of Norton Street. <br />Upon motion duly made and seconded, it was voted to remove Norton <br />Street from the list construction streets to be laid out, <br />Minutes Upon motion duly made and seconded, it was voted to approve as Now <br />11/28/84 amended., the minutes of the Selectmen's Meeting of November 28, 1983. <br />LexHAB Mr., Hutchinson outlined legislation which would give LexHAB author -- <br />, ity to select and purchase up to ten units in the Mu zzey School, and <br />asked that LexHAB be appointed as designee to act on behalf of the Town <br />in this matter. <br />A draft certificate, prepared by Town Counsel, designating LexHAB <br />to act for the Town with respect to matters relating to the Town units <br />in the Muzzey School was read by the Chairman. The Town Manager asked <br />the Board's approval of the legislation which would accomplish this. <br />Upon motion duly made and seconded, it was voted to designate the <br />Lexington Housing Assistance Board, Inc. to: (lo choose the "Town <br />Units". as that term is defined in the Land Disposition Agreement, (2) <br />give notice to the Developer, as that term is defined in the Agreement, <br />identifying said Town Units in accordance with Section 2.3 (c) (ii) of the <br />Agreement, and (3) give or make all other determinations, approvals, <br />notices or certifications relating to said Town units. <br />
