Mr. Gaynor .informed the Board <br />that a three -day surrey was to determine how many Lexington resi- <br />dents were served and it was determined that an average of 10 or <br />appro imabely 700 were served during a week . <br />The Chairman read a report from the Police Chief recommending that <br />the request be denied due to the fact most of the consumers are <br />transients driving north on Route 128 and problems would most likely <br />multiply, especially around closing time. Youell for posted speed signs on Pleasant Street <br />to the Traffic Safety Committee for its recommendations. <br />Upon motion duly made and seconded, it was voted to accept, with <br />regret, the resignation of Fred D.
