McLaughlin. <br /> MOTION: That this article be indefinitely postponed. <br /> Adopted unanimously. 9:50 P.M. <br /> Article 24. RESERVE FUND <br /> Presented by Robert F. Sacco. <br /> MOTION: That the sum of $150,000 be appropriated for the Reserve <br /> Fund and to raise such amount, $150,000 be transferred from the <br /> Reserve Fund - Overlay Surplus. <br /> Adopted unanimously. 9:52 P.M. <br /> Article 25. TAX ANTICIPATION BORROWING <br /> (See Page 215b) <br /> Article 26. CONSERVATION FUND <br /> (See Page 215b) <br /> Article 27. UNEMPLOYMENT COMPENSATION FUND <br /> Presented by Robert F. Sacco. <br /> MOTION: That the sum of $60,000 be appropriated for the unemploy- <br /> ment compensation fund to be used in conjunction with money <br /> previously appropriated for this purpose, and that such amount be <br /> raised in the tax levy. <br /> Adopted unanimously. 9:55 P.M. <br /> Article 28. RESCIND UNUSED BORROWING AUTHORIZATION <br /> (See Page 216) <br /> Article 29. INSTALL WATER MAINS <br /> Presented by Robert F. Sacco. <br /> MOTION: That the Selectmen be and they hereby are authorized to <br /> install new or replacement water mains in such accepted or unaccepted <br /> streets or other land as the Selectmen may determine, subject to the <br /> assessment of betterments or otherwise, and to take by eminent domain, <br /> purchase or otherwise acquire any fee, easement or other interest in <br /> land necessary therefor; to appropriate the sum of $150,000 for <br /> such installation and land acquisition; that such amount be raised <br /> in the tax levy; and, in addition, that the Selectmen be authorized <br /> to apply for., accept, expend and borrow in anticipation of federal <br /> and state aid for such projects. <br /> 9:56 P.M. <br /> Mr. Sacco explained that funds are being requested to replace <br /> approximately 3,000 feet of 12 -inch water main and appurtenances <br /> along Massachusetts Avenue from Woburn Street to Harrington Road. <br /> Adopted unanimously. 9:57 P.M. <br />
