Referring to plans L1.1 and L2.1, Ms. Desilets described that there are alternate pathways being shown on the left side of the plans from the connection on Lowell Street. The goal is to have as much of this trail accessible as possible. Ms. Desilets added that they are taking the connection that shows towards the beach side and creating a connecting point between the existing trails, and, although it will require regrading and removal of vegetation, it is mostly burning bush. It will use a portion of the existing trail but make a connection closer to the beach area, and when the beach is open, there will be an accessible connection up to Lowell Street. Referencing the Lexington Engineering report, Mr. Mustain confirmed that they did follow the existing conditions for the areas in Lexington. Mr. Hamilton suggests that it would benefit the applicant to get together with the Engineering Department to clarify the items on the memorandum. Mr. Marcus asks that the Lexington Conservation Commission coordinate with the Town of Arlington on the issuance of the Orders of Conditions, if and when approved. Mr. Marcus would like the orders to match, so that there will be just one set of conditions for the Contractors to work with. Ms. Mullins confirmed that she will work with the Town of Arlington to make this happen. Ms. Desilets will provide a highlighted plan to show where the trails are shifting. On a motion by Ms. Ladd and seconded by Ms. Samuels, the Commission voted 5-0 by roll call vote to continue the hearing to the January 19, 2021 meeting at the applicant's request.
