3 <br /> DET 19-11 <br /> RDA, 1040-1050 Waltham Street <br /> Applicant: Boston Gas Company d/b/a National Grid <br /> Project: Installation of two new gas service lines <br /> Ms. Dana Vestie of Tighe & Bond presented before the Commission o/b/o Boston Gas <br /> Company. Ms. Vestie stated that the work will be 160-140 feet from the existing main, there will <br /> be excavating of a trench that is 2 feet wide and 3 feet deep. The area will be restored in kind. <br /> There will be 138 feet of temporary disturbed feet. Ms. Vestie stated that there will be catch <br /> basins and silt sacks installed in nearby catch basins during the work. <br /> Mr. Langseth asked what size the trench will be in order to install the gas line. <br /> Ms. Vestie stated that the trench will be 2 feet wide and 3 feet deep. <br /> Mr. Langseth asked if the trenches will be left open during the construction period. <br /> Ms. Vestie stated that they will close the trenches at the end of the work day, clarifying that it is <br /> intended that it will be completed in one day. <br /> Mr. Langseth asked that it be added as a condition to ensure the closure of trenches at night <br /> during the work period, or, alternatively, an erosion control plan be developed. <br /> On a motion by Mr. Wolk and seconded by Mr. Beuttell, the Commission voted 6-0 to issue a <br /> negative determination with conditions. <br /> DEP 4 201-1127 BL 1084 <br /> ANRAD, 497 Concord Ave <br /> Applicant: Ohan Ozcan <br /> Project: Confirmation of wetland delineation <br /> Mr. Jason Lavoie presented before the Commission. <br /> Mr. Lavoie stated that Mr. Dave Burke delineated the wetland line for them. Mr. Lavoie stated <br /> that in total there are about 10,700 sq. feet of wetlands. There is an intermittent stream within the <br /> delineated wetlands. The 100 foot buffer zone encompasses about 60,000 sq. feet of the property. <br /> Mr. Langseth inquired about the delineation at the abutting property. <br /> Ms. Mullins stated that a wetland delineation was completed in 2003 at the Cotting School. <br /> The Chairman, Mr. Hamilton asked what resources were analyzed to determine the wetland <br /> boundary. <br />
