Roberts and Nylander left the meeting <br />at 8:20 p.m. <br />In discussing the matter further it was decided <br />that until such time as Turning Mill Road was extended <br />all the way through Section 3 from Section 1 and Sec- <br />tion 2, that the Board would not allow an extension of <br />said road in a northerly direction for a distance more <br />than 640 feet, such distance allowing for the laying <br />out of three lots on the westerly side and four lots <br />on the easterly side of Turni.ng Mill Road. Mr. Snow <br />was asked to draft a letter for the Chairman's signa- <br />ture setting forth the Board's decision in regard to <br />Mr. Robert's request. <br />At 9:05 p.m. Mark Moore, Jr. and Wilbur C. <br />BURNHAM Nylander came to the meeting to discuss a modified <br />FARMS preliminary plan for the Burnham Farms Section 3 <br />SEC. 3 subdivision. Shown to the Board was a proposal for <br />a dead end street extending northeasterly from <br />Thoreau Roads said dead-end street being located so <br />that parts of lots 8s 9s and 10 could be used to <br />create additional lots which could be included in the <br />Section 3 subdivision. It was suggested that the plan <br />be modified further to include part of lot 11, Mr. <br />Moore presenting his proposal to the Board of Appeals <br />for a variance to subdivide lots 10 and 11 fronting on ' <br />Lowell Street in such a manner that said lots would <br />not have the required area under the subdivision con- <br />At 8:35 P.M. Mr. Antonio Busa met with the <br />GREEN <br />Board to discuss the future extension of his Green <br />VALLEY <br />Valley development. He requested that the Board re - <br />DEVELOPMENT <br />consider its previous decision that there be no further <br />- <br />extension of Lillian Road in a northeasterly direction <br />BUSA <br />until such time as said road was constructed all the <br />way to Nowell Street. (See minutes of December 30s <br />1957.) Mr. Busa was told that the Board did not wish <br />to modify its previous decision and suggested to Mr. <br />Busa that he extend his Green Valley development by <br />constructing Lillian Road in a southwesterly direction <br />beginning at Lowell Street. After a discussion of the <br />general problems involved in the developing of his <br />land, Mr. Busa left the meeting at 8:50 p.m. <br />Considered next by the Board was the matter of <br />RECREATION <br />nominating a person to the Recreation Committee.
