D&W update on MSBA Process and CA transition team <br />The project team met with the MSBA on Thursday July 20th to review the Schematic Design submission and <br />answer any open question that may exist. There were few comments on either the submission binder or <br />financial worksheets supplied. They confirmed that the MSBA would be participating in the project with a <br />35.79% reimbursement rate on MSBA REIMBURSABLE costs, which equates to a Maximum Total Facilities <br />Grant of $16,492,249.00. In the meeting a brief review of SD comments, legal responsibilities of the district and <br />limitations by the MSBA, and acknowledgement that this was the point of transition from the Feasibility and <br />Schematic Design stage and moves the project into the hands of the MSBA Construction Administration team, <br />which is Michael McGurl. <br />The MSBA asked if there were any changes to the design or OPM teams. DiNisco stated that they were <br />changing the Electrical Engineer for the project and D&WMP stated that we were going transition to our <br />Construction Project Director as was presented in our proposal and interview. Mike Burton will replace Trip <br />Elmore as the Project Director. The MSBA asked that we revise our Organization Chart and forward the new <br />one. <br />1ANA(;t?NIENT <br />1',AI I'NERS, 1,I,(' <br />MSBA Transition Meeting: The MSBA discussed a brief review the Module 6 (Design Development) process <br />and acknowledged that the district was proceeding prior to Board and Local approvals, so reimbursement would <br />not take place until both of those milestones take place. They stated that they will want to do a design drawing PROJECT MANAGERS <br />review meeting at some point in the fall in the Designers office.
