REPORT OF TOWN CLERK 123 <br />Selectman Charles E. Ferguson moves to take up Arti- <br />cle 30, presenting the following: <br />Article 30. Voted: That the Town appropriate <br />money to pay the following unpaid bills: <br />For 1935 Bills of the Highway Dept. $403.20 <br />For 1936 Bills of the Public Welfare Dept641.45 <br />Carried 8:43 P. M. <br />Selectman Charles E. Ferguson moves to take up Arti- <br />cle 31, presenting the following: <br />Article 31. Voted: That the Town accept the Iayout <br />as a town way of Tower Road, from the present end of <br />acceptance a distance of approximately 80 feet southeast- <br />erly, as laid out by the Selectmen and shown upon a certain <br />plan on file in the office of the Town Clerk, dated February <br />10, 1936. <br />Carried 8:43 P. M. <br />Selectman Charles E. Ferguson moves to take up Ar- <br />ticle 32, presenting the following: <br />Article 32. Voted : That the sum of $125.00 be ap- <br />propriated for the purchase of a map for the use of the <br />Town Meeting Members. <br />Carried 8:44 P. M. <br />Selectman Charles E. Ferguson moves to take up Ar- <br />ticle 33. <br />Edward W. Kimball of the Planning Board presented <br />the following: <br />124 TOWN OF LEXINGTON <br />VOTE FOR ARTICLE 33 <br />Voted:—That the Town amend the Lexington Zoning <br />By -Law and Map by substituting for the Amendment to <br />the Zoning Law adopted by the Town at the Town Meet- <br />ing November 7, 1930, which reads, <br />"Voted:—That the town amend the Lexington Zoning <br />By -Law and map by changing from an R.1 district to a <br />C.1 district the plot of land owned by Ethel W. Bean and <br />Iocated on the easterly side of Bedford Street, northwest <br />of property of said name at 241 Bedford Street, said <br />plot extending easterly two hundred (200) feet; thence <br />turning and running in a northerly direction three hun- <br />dred (300) feet; thence turning and running southwest- <br />erly two hundred fifty (250) feet to Bedford Street; <br />thence turning and running southeasterly along Bedford <br />Street two hundred forty-seven (247) feet to the point <br />of beginning and comprising one and three eighths (1%) <br />acres of land more or less." <br />The following paragraph to be placed in Section 3, <br />under the heading "In C.1 Districts :—" <br />22. Beginning at a point in the northeasterly side line <br />of Bedford Street, said point being southeasterly and dis- <br />tant 219.04 feet from the southeasterly terminus of a <br />curve of radius 1513.11 feet ; thence running northeast- <br />erly distant 200 feet; thence turning and running north- <br />westerly distant 300 feet; thence turning and running <br />southwesterly distant 250 feet to the northeasterly side <br />line of Bedford Street ; thence turning and running by <br />said side line of Bedford Street, southeasterly distant 247 <br />feet to the point of beginning and comprising 1% acres <br />of land more or less. <br />Edward W.
