Selectman Mr. Ferguson offers the following <br />motion. <br />Voted: That the sum of $155.95 be transferred from the <br />Water Department Available Surplus Account to pay an un- <br />paid bill for Water Maintenance for the year 1934. Carried <br />Unanimously 8:86 P. M. <br />Article 11. Selectman Mr. Ferguson offers the following <br />'notion. <br />Voted: That the Selectmen be authorized to construct <br />granolithic sidewalks where the abutting owner pays one-half <br />the cost, a'ul to provide funds for said construction by the <br />transfer of 86(10. front the Excess and Deficiency Account. Car- <br />ried Unanimously 8:37 P. M. <br />Article 12. Selectman Mr. Ferguson offers the following <br />notion. <br />Voted: That. the unexpended balance of $946.68 in the <br />Highway Construction, Gleason Road, No. 2 Account be trans- <br />ferred to the Excess and Deficiency Account. Carried unan- <br />imously 8:38 P..ii. <br />Article 13. Selectmen `Ir. Ferguson otters the following: <br />motion. <br />Voted : That the Town accept the layout as a town way of <br />Kendall Road from illarrett Road to Hilltop Avenue, a dis- <br />tance of approximately 605 feet, as laid out by the Selectmen <br />under the Betterment Act, and shown upon a certain plan on - <br />file in the ollice of the Town Clerk, dated September 26, 1984, <br />and to take by eminent domain the necessary easements there- <br />for, and for the purpose of constructing said street the stun of <br />$2288.07 be appropriated and transferre;l from the Excess and <br />Deficiency Account. Carried Unanimously 5:10 P. M. <br />Article 14. Selectman Mr. Ferguson offers the following <br />notion. <br />Voted: That the Town accept the layout as a town way of <br />Farnurest Avenue from Waltham Street, a distance of 1430 <br />112 TOWN OF LEXINGTON <br />feet, as laid out by the Selectmen, under the Betterment Act, <br />and shown upon a certain plan on file in the olice of the Town <br />Clerk, dated September 26, 1.984, and to take by eminent do- <br />main the necessary easements therefor, and for the pur- <br />pose of constructing said street the sum of x$8,964.45 be <br />appropriated and transferred from the Excess and Deficiency <br />Account. <br />Question by 31r. Selectman Mr. Ferguson offers the following <br />motion. <br />Voted: That the sum of .20,000 be appropriated for Pub- <br />lic Welfare and that this amount be transferred from the Ex- <br />cess and Deficiency Account. Selectman Mr, Ferguson offers tithe. following <br />motion. <br />Voted: That the sum of $400. be appropriated for Forest <br />Fires and that this amount be transferred from the Excess and <br />Deficiency Account.
