ARTICLE 27 UNEMPLOYMENT COMPENSATION FUND <br /> To see if the Town will appropriate a sum of money for the unemployment <br /> compensation fund to be used in conjunction with money previously appropriated <br /> for this purpose; determine whether the money shall be provided by the tax levy, <br /> by transfer from available funds, or by any combination of these methods; or act <br /> in any other manner in relation thereto. <br /> (Inserted by the Board of Selectmen) <br /> FUNDS REQUESTED: $60,000 <br /> DESCRIPTION: This article requests funding for the Unemployment <br /> Compensation Revolving Fund. <br /> ARTICLE 28 RESCIND UNUSED,BORROWING <br /> AUTHORIZATION <br /> To see if the Town will vote to rescind the unused borrowing authorization voted <br /> under Article 55 of the warrant for the 1973 Annual Town Meeting; or act in any <br /> other manner in relation thereto. <br /> (Inserted by the Board of Selectmen) <br /> DESCRIPTION: This would release the balance of the unissued bond <br /> authorization under Article 55 of the 1973 Annual Town Meeting. <br /> ARTICLE 29 INSTALL WATER MAINS <br /> To see if the Town will vote to install new or replacement water mains in such <br /> accepted or unaccepted streets or other land as the Selectmen may determine, <br /> subject to the assessment of betterments or otherwise, and to take by eminent <br /> domain, purchase or otherwise acquire any fee, easement or other interest in <br /> land necessary therefor; appropriate money for such installation and land <br /> acquisition and determine whether the money shall be provided by the tax levy, <br /> by transfer from available funds, including any special water funds, or by <br /> borrowing, or by any combination of these methods; or act in any other manner in <br /> relation thereto. <br /> (Inserted by the Board of Selectmen) <br /> FUNDS REQUESTED: $150,000 <br /> DESCRIPTION: Funds are requested to replace approximately 3,000 feet of <br /> 12-inch water main and appurtenances along Massachusetts Avenue from Woburn <br /> Street to Harrington Road. <br />
