MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF THE APPROPRIATION COMMITTEE <br /> HELD AT THE TOWN OFFICE BUILDING, MONDAY <br /> EVENING, SEPTEMBER 20, 1943. <br /> The meeting was opened in the Town Accountant ' s office <br /> at 8:05 P.M, by Chairman Lewis L. Hoyt with the following members <br /> in attendance : <br /> Lewis L. Hoyt, Chairman <br /> George M. Hynes Richard W. Maynard <br /> Carl E. Bryant Ronald D. Brown <br /> Harvey F. Winlock Thatcher Jenney <br /> Raymond L. White, Town Accountant <br /> Minutes of the Meetings held July 26 and August 25, 1943. <br /> It was regularly moved and voted to dispense with the <br /> reading of the minutes of the regular and special meetings held <br /> July 26 and August 25, 1943. <br /> Mr. George Ircr. Emery, Finance Officer of the Committee <br /> on Public Safety, was admitted to the meeting at 8:10 P.M. . <br /> Mr. Emery requested that this Committee transfer the sum of <br /> $1,025.00 from the Committee on Public Safety 05,000.00 Fund <br /> to the following accounts : <br /> Personal Services $ 350.00 <br /> Watch Tower 325.00 <br /> Administration - <br /> operation and miscellaneous 350.00 <br /> $1,025.00 <br /> Mr. Emery stated that this amount was for the last <br /> four months of this year. He figured that at the end of this <br /> year approximately $1,000.00 would be left of the original <br /> 15,000.00 appropriation. <br /> After Mr. Emery left the meeting, a motion was made, <br /> seconded and voted that we transfer the sum of $1,025.00 from <br /> the Committee on Public Safety Fund to the above accounts.
