Colleen Dunbar <br />1.Meeting called at 4:35 p.m. <br />2.Open Comment: No Comments. <br />3.Police Department Update: <br />LPD fully anticipates completing our policies to meet full accreditation by the January <br />2016 meeting. We have updated the files so as to meet accreditation certification. <br />The promotion process is coming to a close. Two promotions to Sergeant expected in <br />next couple weeks. The assessment center for promotion to Lieutenant completed <br />September 11. <br />Lexington hired a Computer Project Manager and we expect to spend a couple months <br />reviewing the needs of the Police Department for purchasing a new software system. <br />Town Meeting funded the purchase. <br />4.Policy Review. <br />41-D High Speed Pursuit. Language on the Leblanc decision removed and replaced <br />with the new MOU permitting officers to make stops over the town line. <br />2B Mutual Aid. Similar change with the Leblanc decision. <br />31A Recruiting and Selection of Police Officers. Add language for document <br />destruction. <br />46A All Hazards Plan.
