AGENDA FOR THURSDAY, May 3, 2012 <br />977 Massachusetts Avenue <br />: Bob Scribner, G.F Sprague and Company, described where he needed to remove the tin roof <br />over a front bay window and replace with copper. He is ready for a formal hearing in June <br /> <br />1760 Massachusetts Avenue: <br />Paul Dimos, Eye Look Optical, Signage in the Battle Green District, Applicant will come <br />in June either as a formal or informal. <br /> <br />40 Hancock Street <br />: Nicholas DiGiovanni, Hands-On Construction, showed a site plan of the property and explained they <br />would like to move and rotate the barn. The main reason for moving the barn is to subdivide the lot and build a new home <br />off of Brigham Street. If they decide not to subdivide the lot they still are interested in removing the chimney and <br />changing the barn doors. The Commissioners did not see any huge issues with moving the barn. If the owners do decide to <br />subdivide the lot they will have to get a certificate of appropriateness for the new house as well. <br /> <br />INFORMAL HEARINGS CONTINUED <br /> <br />1605 Massachusetts Avenue <br />: Judith Crocker, ad hoc School Transportation & Safety Study Committee, showed a photo <br />copy of the sandwich board they would like to place in front of Cary Hall to demonstrate the increase in student bus <br />ridership. They still need to apply for a formal hearing but they can make the sign. <br /> <br />4 Vine Brook Road: <br />Robert & Helen Pride showed photograph of where they need to put the vent for their new high <br />efficiency gas heating system. The commissioners did not see a problem with the location. The Prides are ready for a <br /> <br />formal hearing. <br /> <br />OTHER BUSINESS <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Upon motion duly made and seconded it was voted to adjourn the meeting at 11:30 PM <br /> <br /> <br />IT IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF EACH COMMISSIONER TO VIEW ALL <br />PROPERTIES ON THE AGENDA PRIOR TO THE MEETING. <br /> <br />
