AGENDA FOR THURSDAY, May 3, 2012
977 Massachusetts Avenue
: Bob Scribner, G.F Sprague and Company, described where he needed to remove the tin roof
over a front bay window and replace with copper. He is ready for a formal hearing in June

1760 Massachusetts Avenue:
Paul Dimos, Eye Look Optical, Signage in the Battle Green District, Applicant will come
in June either as a formal or informal.

40 Hancock Street
: Nicholas DiGiovanni, Hands-On Construction, showed a site plan of the property and explained they
would like to move and rotate the barn. The main reason for moving the barn is to subdivide the lot and build a new home
off of Brigham Street. If they decide not to subdivide the lot they still are interested in removing the chimney and
changing the barn doors. The Commissioners did not see any huge issues with moving the barn. If the owners do decide to
subdivide the lot they will have to get a certificate of appropriateness for the new house as well.

INFORMAL HEARINGS CONTINUED

1605 Massachusetts Avenue
: Judith Crocker, ad hoc School Transportation & Safety Study Committee, showed a photo
copy of the sandwich board they would like to place in front of Cary Hall to demonstrate the increase in student bus
ridership. They still need to apply for a formal hearing but they can make the sign.

4 Vine Brook Road:
Robert & Helen Pride showed photograph of where they need to put the vent for their new high
efficiency gas heating system. The commissioners did not see a problem with the location. The Prides are ready for a

formal hearing.

OTHER BUSINESS

Upon motion duly made and seconded it was voted to adjourn the meeting at 11:30 PM

IT IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF EACH COMMISSIONER TO VIEW ALL
PROPERTIES ON THE AGENDA PRIOR TO THE MEETING.
