The applicant did not <br /> <br />appear. <br /> <br /> <br />35 Hancock Street <br />: Andrea Nilsen, Nilsen Landscaping, presented a site plan illustrating where each new detail will be <br />placed, and photographs showing existing conditions. The Commission voted 5-0 to issue a certificate of appropriateness <br />for additional fencing, and hardscape. Certificate No. 2012C-21 <br />Voting Commissioners were: Chairman, Joseph Welch, Daniel Griffin and Robert Warshawer and Associate <br />Commissioners: Carl Oldenburg and Marilyn Fenollosa <br /> <br />1707 Massachusetts Avenue <br />: Attorney Thomas O. Fenn, presented a plot plan showing where the tables will be placed in <br />relation to the building, a cut sheet of the tables and chairs, and photographs showing similar tables and chairs placed in <br />the space. The Commission voted 5-0 to issue a certificate of appropriateness for temporary tables and chairs to be <br />brought out and placed in front of the business each day. Certificate No. 2012C-22 <br />Voting Commissioners were: Chairman, Joseph Welch, Daniel Griffin and Robert Warshawer and Associate <br />Commissioners: Carl Oldenburg and Marilyn Fenollosa <br /> <br />884 Massachusetts Avenue: <br /> David Kelland, presented a site plan showing where the fence will be placed, cut sheets of <br />the requested fence and photographs of existing conditions. The Commission voted 5-0 to issue a certificate of <br />appropriateness for a fence placed on the right hand side of the property. Certificate No. 2012C-25 <br />Voting Commissioners were: Chairman, Joseph Welch, Daniel Griffin and Robert Warshawer and Associate <br />Commissioners: Carl Oldenburg and Marilyn Fenollosa <br /> <br />1761 Massachusetts Avenue <br />: Chandra Tibrewal, Banking Center Manager, Bank of America, presented a 12 page packet <br />showing existing conditions, proposed parking signs, locations and description of signs with wording. The Commission <br />voted 5-0 to issue a certificate of appropriateness for parking lot signage. Certificate No. 2012C-23 <br />Voting Commissioners were: Chairman, Joseph Welch, Daniel Griffin and Robert Warshawer and Associate <br />Commissioners: Carl Oldenburg and Marilyn Fenollosa <br /> <br />46 Bedford Street <br />: Jason Parillo, BackBay Sign, presented permit ready drawings for two wall signs and panel for the <br />freestanding sign. The commission had an issue with the wording of “Premium Retailer” after the GoMobel. The <br />Commission members indicated it was not the businesses legal name and appeared as advertising and thus not appropriate <br />in the District.
