<br />Minutes <br />Town Celebrations Committee <br />March 24, 2011 <br />Town Office Building, Room 111 <br /> <br />Members present <br />Suzie Barry, Dick Crogan, Linda Dixon, Mary Gillespie, Jo-Anne Granger, Paul Jenkins, Sondra <br />Lucente, Julie Miller, Wayne Miller, Bill Mix, Sandy Podgorski, Charlie Price, Jim Shaw, Dave <br />Taylor and Bob Tracey <br /> <br />Members not present <br />John Rossi <br /> Henry Murphy and <br /> <br />Business <br /> <br />Suzie Barry called the meeting to order at 7:45 pm. <br /> <br /> <br />March 17, 2011 minutes were accepted with two changes. <br /> <br /> <br />Patriots’ Day, Monday, April 18, 2011 <br />Updates <br /> Bob Tracey <br /> <br />Waltham American Legion has not yet responded. <br /> <br /> <br />Middlesex County Sheriff’s office is still undecided about participating. <br /> <br />Dave Taylor <br />Information has been posted on various websites, distributed all around town <br />(including three area hotels, Hanscom AFB) and sent to several news channels. <br />Linda Dixon <br />ndst <br />The 182 Medical Company of Concord, MA honor guard will replace the 181 <br />Engineer Company National Guard unit in the afternoon parade. Linda is <br />awaiting their application for official approval. <br /> Mary Gillespie <br /> <br />There are no banner bearer responses yet. Mary will go to the schools next week <br /> <br />to see if there have been any sign ups. <br /> <br />Banner bearer participation letters will be available at Michelson’s Shoes. <br /> <br /> <br />Brookline Bank will send volunteers to help at the parade. <br /> <br /> <br />
