Dick Crogan <br />Lee Ann Swanson and Dave Loutman at LHS have sent out requests for student <br />volunteers but have had no response yet. <br /> Sondra Lucente <br /> <br />Wilson’s Farm and the Youth Commission will work together on a float this year. <br /> <br /> <br />Sondra will call the Dance Inn to ask if they plan to participate. <br /> <br /> <br />We do not have forms yet from Wells Fargo and Youville, but both have said they <br /> <br />plan to participate. <br /> <br />Lexington Field and Garden Club will enter a float with a waterfall. <br /> <br />Paul Jenkins <br /> <br />A motion was made and accepted to include James W. Flett’s five antique trucks <br /> <br />and Norm Aubert’s fire engine in the afternoon parade at no cost. <br /> <br />A motion was made and accepted to include the British Bren tank in the <br /> <br />afternoon parade for a fee. <br /> <br />Paul will call the Massachusetts Military Museum. <br /> <br /> <br />Miscellaneous <br /> <br />Suzie Barry will look into providing ice cream cone certificates for the banner bearers. <br /> <br /> <br />The Chamber of Commerce sponsorship letter has been mailed. <br /> <br /> <br />The committee discussed TD Banknorth’s request to walk dogs available for adoption in <br /> <br />the afternoon parade. Suzie will talk with them about the committee’s concerns. <br /> <br />Motions were made and accepted to include <br /> <br /> <br />the Lexington Bedford Youth Hockey team in the afternoon parade with their <br /> <br />banner. <br /> <br />VA Hospital van in the afternoon parade (application received). <br /> <br /> <br />the DePere High School marching band of DePere, WI in the afternoon parade <br /> <br />for a fee determined by the committee (application received). <br /> <br /> Meeting adjourned at 8:30 pm. <br /> <br />Respectfully submitted, <br />Sandy Podgorski <br /> <br /> <br />
