50 °259 <br />Selectmen's Meeting Minutes <br />February 5, 1996 <br />A regular meeting of the Board of Selectmen was held on Monday, February 5, 1996 in the <br />Selectmen's Meeting Doom, Town Office Building at 7:30 p.m. Mr. McSweeney, Mr. Dailey, <br />Mr. Busa, Mr. Fenn, Mrs, Eddison; Mr. white, Town Manager; Mr. Cohen, Town Counsel <br />and Ms. Smith, Executive Clerk, were present. <br />Public Comments <br />Police Chief Chris Casey introduced four new patrol officers; Kristen French, John Mazerall, <br />Kevin Callahan and Michael McLean who have just completed the Police Training Academy <br />and are now eligible for assignment. <br />Consent Agenda <br />Upon motion duly made and seconded, it was voted to approve the following cornnriitments: <br />a. Commitment of water charges for Cycle 3 town - wide billing $81 2 5 910.78 <br />b. Commitment of sewer charges for Cycle 3 town -wide billing $1,373, <br />Re Dort of the Le Ad Hoc Review Committee <br />Ellie I�laurninzer, Bob Barris and Leona Martin were present to answer questions of the <br />Board concerning their report and recommendations concerning the public notification process <br />of LexHAB and future pursuit of affordable housing stock in Lexington. <br />Mrs. Eddison, Selectman Liaison to the Review Committee commended the Committee on its <br />report and swift action on meeting the deadlines imposed on it. <br />Leona Martin reported that the Fair Dousing Committee has seen copies of the report and <br />indicated that the Committee was both surprised and pleased with the recommendations in the <br />report. <br />Upon motion duly made and seconded, it was voted to accept the report and recom endations <br />of the LexHAB Ad Hoc Review Committee. <br />Upon motion duly made and seconded, it was voted to dissolve the LexHAB Ad Hoc Review <br />Committee and to acknowledge the thanks of the Board to all members of the Committee. <br />{ <br />
