Minutes Town Celebrations Committee April 28, 2010 Room 111, Town Hall @ 7:15 pm Members present Suzie Barry, Sally Fisher, Mary Gillespie, Paul Jenkins, Julie Miller, Bill Mix, Henry Murphy, Sandy Podgorski, Charlie Price, Jim Shaw and Bob Tracey Not present Jo-Anne Granger, Sondra Lucente, Jerry Michelson and John Rossi Guests Linda Dixon, afternoon parade volunteer Michael DaRu, member, Lt. Col. John W. Hudson Club, Lexington, MA Sam Doran, member, Lt. Col. John W. Hudson Club, Lexington, MA Business  Suzie Barry called the meeting to order at 7:20 pm.  The April 14, 2010 minutes were approved and accepted.  A motion was made, approved and accepted to not recreate the minutes of the April 8, 2009 meeting, due to the notes being lost. th Lexington 300 Anniversary th  Suzie recapped the Lexington 300 April 23, 2010 meeting for committee members. The next meeting is scheduled on Monday, May 17, 2010 at 10:30 am.  Celebrations will be year-long, possibly beginning September 2012 through September 2013, with a significant event occurring on March 31, 2013.  The anniversary team will be working to establish itself (i.e. incorporate, create a webpage, etc.).  A small sum of money has been set aside within the Town Celebrations Committee budget for the celebrations.  Group meetings will begin in the fall.
