determine the brewery’s expectations. Brewery representatives would like to
know where they can park their truck.

Reenactment rain date is set for Saturday, April 24, 2010 at 6 am.

Guest update (reenactment and afternoon seating at the reviewing stand)

The British Consul General and his group may be a little larger this year.

We could possibly have the French Consul General in attendance in addition to

the forty guests from Antony.

Representatives and twenty-five family members of deployed airmen from

Hanscom AFB will be guests.

Morning parade and ceremony

Bill Mix has arranged for a flag bearer and fifer for both the morning and

afternoon parades. A drummer is still needed.

A two-minute time limit has been set for the awards speeches.

Jeff Leonard has arranged for the singers.

Rev. Paul Shupe of Hancock Church is the participating clergy.

Afternoon parade

There are approximately twenty sponsors this year.

Suzie received a late application from the OVA All Media Arts Matrix Girlz

Choir. A motion was made to permit the group to participate; it was
unanimously accepted and approved. Doug Orr’s truck will transport the
girls.

Lex Fun (not a float entry) was given permission to pull children in wagons,

but children will not be permitted to ride bicycles.

A motion was made to have Bob Tracey purchase water for the parade. The

motion was unanimously accepted and approved.

Sheriff James DiPaola, Middlesex County Sheriff’s department, is marching as

a candidate for reelection. There will be no vehicles from the sheriff’s
department in the parade this year.

Memorial Day

The committee will discuss the selection of a chief marshal.

A stop at the fire station (on the way to Westview Cemetery) is a new addition to

the morning’s program.

Meeting adjourned at 8:35 pm.
Submitted by Sandy Podgorski
