<br />Minutes <br />Town Celebrations Committee <br />March 31, 2010 <br />Room 111, Town Hall @ 7:15 pm <br /> <br />Members present <br />Suzie Barry, Mary Gillespie, Paul Jenkins, Sondra Lucente, Julie Miller, Bill Mix, Henry Murphy, <br />Sandy Podgorski, Charlie Price, Jim Shaw and Bob Tracey <br />Not present <br />Sally Fisher, Jo-Anne Granger, Jerry Michelson and John Rossi <br />Members present <br />Linda Dixon and Sharon Spaulding, afternoon parade volunteers <br />Business <br /> <br />Suzie Barry called the meeting to order at 7:15 pm. <br /> <br /> <br />The March 3, 2010 and March 24, 2010 minutes were approved and accepted. <br /> <br /> <br />Patriots’ Day 2010 <br /> <br />Reenactment <br /> <br />DPW representatives David Pinsonneault and Ronnie Russo said they will make a <br /> <br />ramp for Douglas House attendees and place it at the VIP area. <br /> <br />Ticket requests: (1) the Antony Committee has requested tickets for their <br /> <br />visitors (at this time, we do not know how many tickets are needed), (2) twenty <br />five tickets will be given to Hanscom AFB families of deployed airmen and (3) <br />visitors from the Bowman School’s sister city in Kenya will receive four tickets. <br /> <br />Morning parade <br />th <br />The Sam Adams Brewery is advocating that April 19 be made a national holiday and is <br />planning to solicit signatures from the Minutemen prior to the parade, which could <br />possibly cause a delay in getting underway. A suggestion was made to have the brewery <br />representatives collect signatures at another time. <br /> <br />
