<br />Minutes <br />Town Celebrations Committee <br />March 3, 2010 <br />Room 111, Town Hall @ 7:15 pm <br /> <br />Members present <br />Suzie Barry, Sally Fisher, Mary Gillespie, Paul Jenkins, Julie Miller, Bill Mix, Henry Murphy, <br />Sandy Podgorski, Charlie Price, Jim Shaw and Bob Tracey <br />Not present <br />Jo-Anne Granger, Sondra Lucente, Jerry Michelson and John Rossi <br /> Business <br />Suzie Barry called the meeting to order at 7:15 pm. <br /> <br />Patriots’ Day 2010 <br /> <br />Morning parade and ceremonies <br />Regarding clergy – Suzie sent a letter to the Lexington Clergy Association requesting a <br />participant. They are looking to find someone available to help. <br /> <br />Pre-parade meeting <br />As usual, the Lexington Minutemen will attend. <br /> <br />Political candidate participation <br />The committee reviewed the political candidate fee structure for 2010 and voted the <br />following: <br /> <br />$300 State Senator/State Representative/County Sheriff <br /> <br /> <br />$500 Governor/Lt. Governor/Atty. General/Treasurer/Secretary <br /> <br /> of State <br /> <br />$1,000 Federal Senator/Representative <br /> <br /> <br />$2,500 Any Presidential candidate <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
