• <br /> (ADJOURNED sEsarew, A.T.M. , CONT. - MARCH 27, 1995) <br /> 10:24 p.m. Sally Zimmerman, preservation specialist, <br /> spoke in favor. John Davies, Planning Board, and former <br /> Historic Districts Commission member, also spoke in <br /> favor. <br /> Selectman Busa stated the majority of the Board were <br /> opposed and Selectman Eddison presented a minority <br /> report. <br /> Mrs. Davison stated that the Planning Board unanimously <br /> supported the article; Clark Griffith, Historic Districts <br /> Commission, stated unanimous support; David Kelland, <br /> Historical Commission, stated unanimous support; <br /> Elizabeth Whitman stated majority support of the Design <br /> Advisory Committee. <br /> Discussion continued from the Town Meeting members and <br /> interested citizens. <br /> 10:45 p.m. William Simmons, P6, moved the question. <br /> Following a voice vote as to whether the question should <br /> be put, the Moderator declared the motion offered by Mr. <br /> Simmons not to have passed and debate continued. <br /> 11:07 p.m. Fred Rosenberg, P9, moved the question. <br /> Following a voice vote as to whether the question should <br /> be put, the Moderator declared the motion offered by Mr. <br /> Rosenberg to have passed. <br /> Following a voice vote at 11:08 p.m. which was in doubt, <br /> the Moderator called for a standing vote which was <br /> tallied as follows: <br /> Precinct Yes No Abstain <br /> 1 8 9 <br /> 2 6 8 <br /> 3 5 9 <br /> 4 9 6 <br /> 5 8 11 <br /> 6 11 7 <br /> 7 11 8 <br /> 8 9 9 <br /> 9 6 10 <br /> At large 13 11 <br /> Totals 86 88 <br /> The Moderator declared the motion offered by Mrs. Thomas <br /> not to have been adopted. <br /> 11:13 p.m. Mrs. Thomas served Notice of Reconsideration <br /> on Article 30. <br /> 11:13 p.m. William Dailey, Jr. , Chairman of the Board of <br /> Selectmen, moved that the mPPtirr, nrlinurned until <br /> Wednesday.
