The committee <br /> approved the following minor changes to the design: <br /> o Remove Town seal. <br /> o Add a sixth service icon representing our newest branch, the Space force. <br /> o Add a sixth star to reflect this new branch. <br /> o Remove dashes before and after the phrase "Lexington, Massachusetts." <br /> • The Committee approved this banner design, as amended. <br /> • June plans to submit an official request to produce and display the banner on Friday, <br /> October 9. Production and delivery will take one week. <br /> Gift Cards for Veterans: <br /> • June and Kim Katzenbach from the Selectmen's Office will purchase 150 $10 gift cards <br /> from Dunkin by 10115, using the Town credit card. <br /> • The charge will be applied directly to the TCC budget. <br /> • The deadline for veterans to request inclusion in this program is October 15. <br /> • Suzanne will send out the cover letter and gift card to the veterans. <br /> Virtual Veterans Day Program: <br /> • Steve Cole volunteered to work with the Minutemen and Lex Media to videotape the <br /> Minutemen performing a volley on the Green. <br /> • Steve confirmed that he is working on providing a 2 minute tribute to Dan Fenn to be <br /> included in the Veterans Day video. <br /> • The committee discussed whether the Minutemen could be videotaped raising the flag on <br /> the Green, and also posting the colors and ringing the Lexington's bell. Bill Mix will <br /> assist Steve in resolving these issues. <br /> Car Parade for Veterans on November 11, 2020: <br /> 0 June reported that 21 veterans have been confirmed to participate in the parade. <br />
