• Moving the Veterans Day ceremony into Cary Hall and involving more residents in the <br /> ceremony. <br /> • Partnering with IAL to provide coffee at the Veterans Day Breakfast. <br /> • Going "green"to ensure that as much breakfast trash as possible is compostable. <br /> Patriots Day: <br /> • Ordering tickets for the activities locally. <br /> • Changing the Parade sponsorship method. <br /> • Creating a video about Patriots Day in Lexington to be used for publicity purposes. <br /> • Making better use of the Town web site as a way to publicize information about <br /> committee-sponsored activities, and especially weather-related cancellations and time <br /> changes. <br /> • Putting Patriots Day marching unit applications and sponsorship applications online. <br /> • Increasing the number of parade ambassadors (to increase participation by Lexington's <br /> youth) and providing ambassadors T-shirts for their efforts. <br /> Community Involvement: <br /> • Developing community partnerships with IAL, CAAL. <br /> • Initiation of collaboration with Arlington and Concord Town Celebration Committees. <br /> • Partnering with Lexington committees developing activities to remember WWI and <br /> WWII. <br /> • Buying TCC committee jackets. <br /> The meeting adjourned at 8:00 p.m. Next meeting: TBD <br /> Respectfully submitted, <br /> Suzanne Caton, Secretary <br />
