Exactname,title, and/or dateof individual, event, or celebration; <br />Complete proposed text, following the “Whereas” clause layout; <br />Facts about the individual or event in chronological order; <br />Requestor’sname, address, telephone number, email address; and <br />Date the request is needed by. <br />Proclamations are not automatically reissued each year. When submitting your request, please note if your <br />request has been issued in previous years for the same event. <br />Any draft language provided may be edited or rewritten at the discretion ofthe Select Board. Every <br />request must be acted on favorably at a public meeting of the Select Boardbefore being issuedto the <br />requestor.The Select Boardtypically meetsbimonthly. <br />Once a proclamation requesthas been processed, youwill be contacted for pick up at the Select Board <br />Office. <br /> <br />
