BOARD OF APPEALS HEARINGS <br />' April 3, 1973 <br />A regular meeting of the Lexington Board of Appeals was held on Tuesday, <br />April 3, 1973 at 7:30 p.m. in the G 15 meeting room of the Town Office Build- <br />ing. Present were Chairman Nickerson, regular members G. Wadsworth and G. <br />Sheldon and associate members R. Cataldo and L. Clarke. <br />Public hearings were held on the following petitions, notice having been <br />mailed to the petitioners, to the owners of all property deemed by the Board <br />to be affected thereby as they appear on the most recent local tax list, to <br />town boards and officials who will or might be affected by decisions made, <br />and also advertised in the Lexington Minute -man. <br />Clifford and Sandra E. Larson - variances to maintain the present dwelling <br />at 25 Outlook Drive with a 7 ft. side yard, instead of the required 7.5 ft., <br />and to build an addition at the rear of dwelling. The addition will leave <br />a side yard of 6.4 ft., all according to plan submitted. <br />Ralph D. Cataldo - permission to continue the operation of a roadside stand <br />at 61 Bow Street for the sale of vegetables, flowers, plants and other <br />nursery and farm goods and for the sale of Christmas trees, wreaths, etc. in <br />the appropriate season. <br />Ralph D. Cataldo - permission to remove excess loam from the area on the <br />easterly side of Bow Street, now being filled; the loam to be removed is that <br />' which is not necessary for continued use of the premises at 61 Bow Street for <br />agricultural purposes. <br />Campanelli, Inc. - site plan review for a special permit under Section 13 of <br />the Lexington zoning by-law and for a finding and determination on a proposed <br />facility for Tyco Laboratories, Inc. at 4 Hartwell Place, in accordance with <br />plans submitted; that the proposed construction will constitute a suitable <br />development, and will not result in substantial detriment to the neighborhood. <br />Land presently owned by Hartwell Realty is under purchase and sale agreement <br />with Campanelli. <br />Following the hearings the Board made the following decisions, all in <br />open meeting: <br />Clifford and Sandra E. Larson - granted unanimously. <br />Ralph D. Cataldo (roadside stand) - granted on a vote of 4 to 0, Mr. Cataldo <br />abstaining. This permit is subject to the following conditions: <br />1. The premises shall be kept in a neat and orderly condition. <br />2. No flood lights shall be installed. <br />3. There shall be no parking on Bow Street. <br />4. The stand will operate 7 days a week during the daylight hours except <br />during the period November 15 through December 25 when closing hours <br />will be 7 p.m. <br />' S. Christmas trees and wreaths may be sold during the period of November <br />15 through December 25. <br />6. No large quantities of bags of fertilizer or wood shall be stored out- <br />side for sale. <br />
