276 <br />by Article V, section 2(a) of the Building By-law of Lex- <br />ington, if Lexington Ridge, Inc. now requested that approval. <br />Lexington Ridge, Inc., however, because of the construction <br />requirements of the said By-law, has decided at this time <br />to submit to us for our approval a plan of only one section <br />of the total development contemplated in the plan above <br />referred to, and we are, therefore, at this time, on <br />receipt of the said bond and agreement, endorsing the.app- <br />roval of the Board of Survey only upon the Plan of Land <br />in Lexington, Mass., belonging to Lexington;,Ridge, Inc., <br />date May 16, 1940, John F. Lowe. <br />Clerk. <br />Mr. Rowse asked Mr. Morang if he was willing to grant <br />the town a permanent easement through this land to be used <br />for a sanitary sewer, according to Metcalf & Eddy's plans <br />that the town have a system of sewerage in this particular <br />section, and he replied that he would be willing to do so. <br />Mr. Paxton said that he would draw up the agreements nec- <br />essary to take care of this. <br />The board received a letter from ketcalf & Eddy re- <br />questing approval of an Extension of Time in connection <br />with Contract B, Vine Brook,Drain, and another letter re- <br />questing approval of an extra work order on the same con- <br />tract. Mr. Locke moved that both requests be granted (Mr. <br />Raymond having approved them).
