120 � <br />c� <br />�c <br />Mr. George W. Ingram who works for the Middlesex and <br />Boston Street Railway Co. living at 8 Manley Court it very <br />ill. Family consists of wife and one girl who works at <br />Ingram Friend's bakery on Saturdays. Rent $25. per month. It <br />was reported that this man had been working steady getting <br />full weeks pay; that he was running an automobile, and it <br />was felt that the case should be investigated, <br />In reference to application.of Miliano Rosa, 52 Rawwon <br />Ave., the man lives in a small shack and owns nine lots of <br />land in addition. Man worked for Busa Bros. for three <br />Rosa ears, but got through the middle of November. He received <br />R5. per week, and this was verified by Mr. Ferri at the <br />Nurseries. There are four children; man owns house and pays <br />no rent, but wants work to pay taxes and water bills. It <br />was decided to take no action on this application. <br />Mr. Mitchell reported application received from T.J. <br />Doherty of 64 Farmcrest Avenue, who came before the Board <br />last week. His wife is now out of the hospital. His house <br />Doherty. cost about $8000. but the dues have been suspended by the <br />bank. He has two sons married, and one daughter who earns <br />$12. per week and turns in $5. It was felt that Mr. <br />Doherty should be given three days work each week. <br />In regard to the application of James S. Mowat, 17 <br />Wachusett Drive, he received unemployment Relief last year. ' <br />His interest payments on the house are $33.00; his wife <br />Mowat boards three state children getting $5.50 each a week. It <br />was decided to give him three days. Later it was decided <br />that a man should be put in charge of the work at Franklin <br />School and he may be given extra time'if put in charge of <br />these men. <br />Application was received from the father of Domonic <br />Eovino Eovino who has lived in town nine years. No action was <br />taken. Mr. Mitchell was to invdstigate further. <br />In regard to the -application of Walter L. Hunt who <br />lives with Fred Burgess of Fremont Street it was decided <br />Hunt to give him $6. per week. The man has no settlement and" <br />is back in his payments of board. <br />In regard to Salvator Corselli, Mr. O'Connell advised <br />him to pay 50� and get his license back so that he could <br />get his license back so that he could get his job, but he <br />Corselli. stated that he did not have the 50� to pay for the <br />certificate. However, now it has developed that he cannot <br />get his job back with Mr. Bieren since he lost his' license, <br />and he wanted some assistance. His rent is $14. per <br />month, family he and wife. It was decided to give him aid <br />to $6. per week. , <br />In regard to John O'Brien, Mr. Mitchell stated that he <br />was living at the Barber Shop at night, and he wanted <br />another day so that he could get another room.
