86 Ph <br />Owl <br />to the proposition of caring for the grass borders <br />Grass Borders* on a 50-50 basis. He stated that he would later ' <br />secure_ the figures from the Treasurer, Randall Houghton <br />about what the previous cost of taking careof the <br />borders amounted to. <br />Application was received from Frank W. Perkins, <br />F. W. Perkins 536-542 Mass. Ave. for permission to store and sell <br />gasoline gasoline in underground tanks in the capacity of <br />application. 2000 gallons as an accessory to auto repairing. <br />The Board voted to advertise the hearing but <br />it should be advertised for a joint hearing with the <br />Board of Appeals. <br />The Board considered the letter received from <br />John N. Connors under date of June 9 in which he <br />stated regarding the, swine and buildings.. that he <br />John N. did not know they were within the limits of the Town <br />Connors pig of Lexington until the Town Engineer staked out <br />application* the line about ten days ago. He therefor wished to <br />apply for a permit to keep the swine and buildings. <br />The Board considered Mr._Connorts application <br />for a permit to keep swine and to have the buildings <br />which he erected without a permit in the Town of <br />Lexington, occupied for use on his premises located <br />off Old County Road, Lincoln, and voted to notify ' <br />Mr. Connors that they would give him one month from <br />the date of the, letter to remove the swine in <br />question and one month from the date of the letter <br />in which to remove the structures in question before <br />further action is taken by the Board. <br />Mr. Lumsden, 157 Reed Street, Lexington came <br />before the hoard to report a condition which he f elt <br />should be brought to the Boardis attention. He stated <br />that he came here to Lexington to live. the first of <br />February, and he had hoped to make this Town his home <br />Toyin. He stated that he came down to the Center a <br />week ago Saturday night, and at the coraar of Waltham <br />Street he turned his car around after having stopped <br />at the stores, and the light was green when he went <br />across the street and it turned yellow while he was <br />crossing the street. He had his daughter with him <br />at the time. When he went to look -for his registration, <br />he did not have it with him. He went home to look for <br />it and camb back to Officer Lima and told himthat he <br />could not find his registration. The Officer then <br />informed him that he had a stolen car and took him down <br />to the Police station to lock him up. He found later <br />that day that the truck of the Firestone Rubber Co. <br />in Malden was driven by him to Hudson and that he ' <br />took his license out of his pocket and put it in the <br />truck and then, forgot it. He wanted to telq)hone Mr. <br />Nelson to tell him about this and officer Lima would <br />not let him telephone. He told him that he did not <br />believe he had_ a license and he believed that he had <br />
