M'& <br />IM2TING MAY 25, 1926 <br />A regular meeting of the Board of Selectmen was held at the <br />Selectmen's Office at 7:30 P.14, Messrs. Custance, Burnham, Miles, <br />Ballard, and Robertson. The Superintendent of Public Works and the <br />clerk were also present. <br />The application of 'k`rs. Ida H. B. Capper for a gasoline filling <br />station at the corner of Waltham and ?Tiddle Streets was again con- <br />sidered by the Board. ter. Ballard brought out the fact that the Plan- <br />ning Board some time ago studied the proposition of drainage through <br />"ars. Capper's land, and also that of extendin a street from the <br />McIntosh Property over yrs. Capper's land to V'Ialtham Street. In view <br />of the situation it was decided to request the Planning Board to come <br />before the Selectmen at their next meeting; June 8th to discuss the <br />advisibility of granting a permit for this filling; station, and also <br />of securing permission of Mrs. Capper to extend a street across her <br />land. <br />The application of W. A. Granfield of 1 Spring Street for permission <br />to locate a Sasoline tank on Spring Street near the junction of hiddle <br />Street was considered, and the Board voted not to grant a permit. <br />On the application of Maurice P. Ahern for permission to erect a <br />filling tation at the corner of Woburn and Cottage Streets, it was <br />decided to also refer this matter to the Planning Board to give their <br />' opinion on the location. <br />The following licenses were eigned, Alcohol License, Standard Oil <br />Co., Theatre License, William Viano. <br />Hearing was declared open at8 P.Y. on petition of Frank Z. Hudson <br />of Baker Avenue for permission to move his garage on another location <br />on his lot. No persons a7)peared to object and it was voted to grant <br />permission. <br />Hearing was declared open upon petition of Ryder Stock Fara for <br />permissien to install a gasoline tank of 500 gallons for private !.ase on <br />the premieel- )n Maple Street, to re lace the former t1_nk of <br />It was decided to grant the permit for private use only. <br />At 8:15 P.I.T. Hearing was declared open upon a petition of the Lex- <br />ington Golf Club for permission to install a 300 gallon gasoline tank <br />on the premises for private use. No persons appeared to object and it <br />was voted to grant the pe rmit. <br />A hearing was also declared open upon the application of Louis '.7. <br />bills for permission to install a 50C gallon �asoline tank on h' pre- <br />mises f.t.73 Hancock Street for private use. t was voted to grant the <br />permit, for private use only. <br />The Board was notified of a conference to be held on.
