Veterans Day, Saturday, November 11, 2017 <br /> Ceremony in Cary Hall <br /> Lorain reported that the plan to have four high school students read their essays at the ceremony was a <br /> "go." There was a last minute effort to acquire all 15 essays from the students who participated in time <br /> to have them edited and formatted for publication in the booklet that will be distributed at the <br /> ceremony. However, this work was almost complete. <br /> Lorain discussed the roster for the parade, stating that the students and the honor guard would march <br /> first in the parade. <br /> It was announced that the VFW was inviting everyone to the VFW Hall for food and fellowship after <br /> the ceremony. <br /> The meeting was adjourned at 8:30 pm. <br /> Respectfully submitted, <br /> Mary Hutton, Co-Secretary <br /> he <br />
