<br />Town Celebrations Committee <br />Minutes of Meeting <br />March 29, 2017 <br />Parker Room, Town Office Building <br />Members Present <br />Lorain Marquis, Chair; June Baer, Suzanne Caton, Kim Coburn, Dick Crogan, Linda Dixon, Karen <br />Gaughan, Cerise Jalelian, Paul Jenkins, Sondra Lucente, Rich McDonough, Julie Miller, Wayne <br />Miller, Bill Mix, Henry Murphy, Geetha Padaki, Sandy Podgorski, Bob Tracey <br />Members not present <br />Glen Bassett, Carol Flynn, Mary Hutton, Linda Levitt, Dave Taylor, Sam Zales <br />Business <br />The Chair declared that a quorum was present. <br />The minutes of March 22 were approved <br />The next meeting will be on April 5, 2017 in the Parker Room, Town Office Building. <br />Lorain asked TCC members to let her know if they will be purchasing T-shirts with the TCC <br />logo. <br />Approval of Applications <br />No Fee (5 Units) <br />The Committee approved the following parade units with no fee involved: <br />DeFelice Lexington VFW – 2 cars <br />The Fitter Femail – 2 cars <br />Korean Organization of Lexington – 20 marchers <br />Minuteman Indivisable – 5 to 6 marchers <br />Original Freedom City – 50 marchers <br />Fee Requested (7 Units) <br />The Committee approved the following units and fees that represented no change from 2016: <br />Jim Kilroy’s Jambalaya Band <br />William Diamond Jr. Fife & Drum Corp <br />Massachusetts Military Museum (George DeBonis) -- WWII Armored Vehicles <br />The Committee approved the following new units and fees <br />Martin Cox - two military vehicles <br />Shriners Fire Brigade clowns <br />Sons of Italy Drum & Bugle Corp <br />Worcester Brass Band – military marching band <br /> <br />
