<br />Town Celebrations Committee <br />Minutes of Meeting <br />March 22, 2017 <br />Parker Room, Town Office Building <br />Members Present <br />Lorain Marquis, Chair; June Baer, Kim Coburn, Dick Crogan, Linda Dixon, Karen Gaughan, Mary <br />Hutton, Cerise Jalelian, Paul Jenkins, Sondra Lucente, Julie Miller, Wayne Miller, Bill Mix, Henry <br />Murphy, Geetha Padaki, Sandy Podgorski <br />Members not present <br />Glen Bassett, Suzanne Caton, Carol Flynn, Linda Levitt, Rich McDonough, Dave Taylor, Bob Tracey, <br />Sam Zales <br />Business <br />The Chair declared that a quorum was present. <br />The minutes of March 15 were approved <br />The next meeting will be on March 29, 2017 in the Parker Room, Town Office Building. <br />Approval of Applications <br />No Fee (3 Units) <br />The Committee approved the following parade units with no fee involved: <br />Bhakti Center of Lexington - Lorain wrote letter in accordance with discussion at last meeting. <br />Children's Center of Lexington - regarding the concern about children pulling wagons, they will be <br />accompanied by parents. If children get tired, parents will put them in wagons and pull them along. <br />Lexington Youth Lacrosse - sports team, some question on their goalpost on wheels. If this turns out <br />to be a problem, marchers will carry it. <br />Fee Requested (4 Units) – Same as 2016 <br />The Committee approved the following units and fees that represented no change from 2016: <br />Stuart Highlanders Pipe Band <br />Tony Barrie Band <br />Syzygy Media Works <br />US Naval Sea Cadets Corps <br />Tabled Applications <br />The following applications were tabled pending discussions to renegotiate requested fees: <br />Martin Cox - two military vehicles. <br />George DiBonis - WWII Armored Vehicles <br /> <br />
