Along with representatives from each of the following groups: <br /> • Civic/Community Group Representative <br /> • 6 Community Members with a background or interest in history, event <br /> planning, logistics, transportation, security, fundraising and/or publicity <br /> • Local Museum or Historical Organization Representative <br /> • Lexington Public School Representative <br /> • Local Business Representative <br /> • Music & Arts Community Representative <br /> • Reenactment Community Representative <br /> Staff support as appropriate from the following departments: Department of Public <br /> Works, Economic Development Office, Cary Memorial Library, Fire Department, Police <br /> Department, Town Manager's Office, Department of Public Facilities <br /> Ex Officio/Liaisons (non-voting): <br /> • Appropriation Committee <br /> • Capital Expenditures Committee <br /> Prior to serving as a member of this Committee, appointees are required to: <br /> 1. Acknowledge receipt of the Summary of the Conflict of Interest Statute. Further, to <br /> continue to serve on the Committee the member must acknowledge annually receipt of <br /> the Summary of the Conflict of Interest Statute. Said summary will be provided by and <br /> acknowledged to the Town Clerk. <br /> 2. Provide evidence to the Town Clerk that the appointee has completed the on-line <br /> training requirement required by the Conflict of Interest Statute. Further, to continue to <br /> serve on the Committee, the member must acknowledge every two years completion of <br /> the online training requirement. <br /> Ref: Adopted by the Board of Selectmen on January 13, 2020 <br /> Amended by Select Board on January 25, 2021 <br /> Select Board voted to: increase number of members from 11 to 15; add"Quorum: <br /> Quorum shall be a majority of members serving"; update Criteria for Membership to <br /> increase the number of Community Members from 2 to 6; update the background <br /> options for the Community Members to include: "...transportation, security, fundraising <br /> and/or publicity" on July 24, 2023 <br /> Select Board voted to: increase number of members from 15 to 16; add a second Select <br /> Board Member to the membership on November 27, 2023 <br />
