Semiquincentennial Commission (Lexington 250)-Agenda <br />Wednesday,September 27,2023 4:30-6:00 pm –Hybrid Meeting <br />Parker Room,Town Office Building &on Zoom <br />Pursuant to notice duly filed with the Town Clerk,the Semiquincentennial Commission <br />(Lex250)convened in a hybrid meeting in the Parker Room at the Town Office Building <br />and via Zoom video conference on Wednesday,September 13 at 4:33 pm by Ms.Barry as <br />allowed by legislation (S.2475)extending the suspension of certain provisions of the <br />Massachusetts Open Meeting Law. <br />Present In Person <br />Suzie Barry,Select Board Member,Chair <br />Mona Roy,Community Representative,Vice Chair <br />Jane Hundley,Lexington Public Schools Representative <br />Tom Colatosti,Community Representative <br />Steve Conners,Reenactment Community Representative <br />Ashley Rooney,Community Representative <br />Cleve Coats,Community Representative <br />Barry Cunha,Business Representative <br />Cerise Jalelian,Town Celebrations Committee Representative <br />Present Remotely <br />Jillian Tung,Music &Arts Representative,Clerk <br />Paul O’Shaughnessy,Historical Organization Representative <br />John Rossi,Commission on Disability Liaison <br />Julie O’Leary,Civic Representative <br />Absent <br />Bridger McGraw,Community Representative <br />Noah Michelson,Community Representative <br />Bebe Fallick,Tourism Committee Representative <br />●The meeting was called to order at 4:33 p.m.by Ms.Barry <br />●Updates and Discussion <br />○Collaborative Meeting at Community Center:Review of table notes, <br />■Publicity <br />●Ms.Rooney,Ms.Roy,and Ms.Jalelian were present in this <br />group.Helpful information was presented.Members noted <br />the importance of communication between all towns <br />■Example of the need for clear inter-town and intra-town <br />communication:Sandya Iyer is meeting with economic development <br />representatives from other towns in regards to a shared website etc <br />which came as a surprise to those on the Lex250 Commission.Ms. <br />Barry gave more details about this situation specifically involving the <br />Intermunicipal Agreement.Ms.Barry and Ms.Roy are in <br />communication with the Lexington Town Manager to help clarify <br />roles,plans and responsibilities <br />1
