<br /> <br /> <br />Lexington Historical Commission <br />Meeting Minutes <br />December 14, 2022 <br /> Meeting Conducted by Remote Participation <br /> <br />Commissioners Present: Susan Bennett, Chair, Diane Pursley, Marilyn Fenollosa, Wendall Kalsow, <br />David Kelland. <br />Commissioner Absent: <br />Associate Commissioners Present: Robert Rotberg. <br />Associate Commissioner Absent: <br />Staff Present: Siqing Pan, Department Assistant <br />th <br />Chair Susan Bennett called the December 14, 2022 Historic Commission meeting to order at 7:01 <br />pm. <br /> <br />AGENDA ITEM #1 (7:00pm): Public hearing regarding the partial building demolition and roof line <br />change at 71 Woburn Street <br />APPLICANT (S) PRESENT: Atul Jain, Homeowner <br /> Matthew Piekarski, Architect <br />ABUTTER(S) PRESENT: <br />DOCUMENT(S): <br />Existing and Proposed Elevations: dated November 23, 2022 <br />Renderings: dated October 20, 2022 <br />Photos of original structure: dated September 20, 2022 <br />Photos of existing structure: dated September 20, 2022 <br />Structural Engineer’s Report: dated October 21, 2022 <br />SUMMARY: <br />Matthew Piekarski, architect, explained the proposed addition to the existing structure and partial <br />demolition for existing car garage and rebuild a new garage. <br />The Commission reviewed and approved the proposed plans with deletion of shed dormers on the front <br />side of addition. <br />No Public Comments. <br />HC COMMENTS: <br />Mr. Kelland stated the change is huge. <br />Ms. Fenollosa stated the two proposed windows of garage side elevation will be unfriendly.
