TLS LEXINGTON HISTORICAL COViMISSION <br /> LEXINGTON , MASS . 02173 <br /> MEETING <br /> Room G15 March 1, 1978 <br /> Lexington Town Office Building 7. 30 p.m. <br /> Voting Members Presents Anne Grady, Chair; Elizabeth Reinhardt, <br /> Sara Chase , Norma Bogen <br /> Guest: Kirk Noyes (present during first portion of meeting. ) <br /> HANCOQK Kirk Noyes , of Sidney and Noyes Associates , de- <br /> SCHOOL velopers of the Hancock School building, presented <br /> PLANS the latest set of plans of the School for the review <br /> of the Commission. A number of changes have been <br /> made since the selection of the firm by the Selectmen. <br /> Members of the Commission asked various questions , and <br /> no particular problems surfaced. Interior details <br /> have not yet been prepared, and the Commission ex- <br /> pressed interest in viewing these when they are avail- <br /> able . Richard Morehouse , who was not present , will <br /> be given an opportunity to review the site and floor <br /> plans and make comments . <br /> Since the parking areas are not inconformance with <br /> the zoning regulations which require a setback of <br /> at least 40 ' , the developer has applied to the Board <br /> of Appeals for a variance . The developer requested <br /> the support of the Commission. Anne Grady will send <br /> a letter to the Board in support . <br /> MINUTES The minutes of the last meeting were read and <br /> approved. <br /> EDUCATIONAL Betty Reinhardt requested that the Commission have <br /> PROGRAM duplicates of some of her personal slides made so <br /> that they might be used in the architectural units <br /> of the Lexington schools by school personnel, in <br /> cooperation with the Commission, as part of their <br /> educational program. The request was approved. <br /> NEdSPAPER Anne Grady reported that she had spoken to Ann <br /> ARTICLE Scigliano of the Lexington Minuteman and had suggested <br /> an article in the paper that described the functions <br />
