<br />Commission on Disability <br />September 20, 2022 Meeting Minutes <br /> <br />Members: Victoria Buckley (Chair), Sue Cusack, Shaun Grady, Julie Miller, Leonard Morse- <br />Fortier, Janet Perry, Francine Stieglitz <br /> <br />Town Liaisons: Jim Kelly, Building Commissioner <br /> <br />Committee Liaisons: Bonnie Teitleman, Council on Aging; Pam Lyons, Center Committee <br /> <br />Guests: John Livsey, Town Engineer; Valerie Overton; Tom Shiple; Mona Roy; Sharon Coffey, <br />Zoning Clerk <br />Pursuant to Governor Baker’s March 12, 2020 Order Suspending Certain Provisions of the Open <br />Meeting Law, G.L. c. 30A, §18, and the Governor’s March 15, 2020 and subsequent Orders <br />imposing strict limitation on the number of people that may gather in one place, this meeting <br />of the Lexington Commission on Disability will be conducted via remote participation to the <br />greatest extent possible. Specific information and the general guidelines for remote <br />participation by members of the public and/or parties with a right and/or requirement to <br />attend this meeting can be found below. No in-person attendance of members of the public will <br />be permitted, but every effort will be made to ensure that the public can adequately access the <br />proceedings in real time, via technological means. (*As per Executive Order regarding remote <br />participation: https://www.mass.gov/doc/open-meetinglaw-order-march-12-2020/download) <br />Please be advised that the House and Senate passed a bill that Governor Baker signed, which <br />will allow the continuation of remote public meetings until July 15, 2022. <br />This meeting met remotely from 5:45 PM to 7:09 PM. <br />Thank you: <br /> Thank you to Sharon Coffey, Zoning Clerk, for helping with the zoom technology. <br /> <br />Review of Minutes <br /> Minutes from June, July, and August, 2022 were unanimously approved. <br /> <br />Discussion with John Livsey, Town Engineer, about Streetscape <br /> All the brick has been installed. They are now going through an extensive punch list for <br />adjustments, including replacing chipped bricks, re-laying several 1000 bricks, re-sanding <br />to restabilize the bricks. <br /> They learned that some of the problems were related to snow removal – the blades <br />have been changed and other equipment will used to avoid this problem in the future. <br /> The town has created a budget that will cover costs for thorough inspections twice a <br />year and repairs. <br /> 20 trees have been planted. <br /> 1 <br /> <br />
