Mr. Carroll explained that the Road Machinery account is running very close and he asked to have the amount spent for repairs transferred to that account. The Board of Selectmen voted to request the Appropriation Committee to consider transferring the sum of $507.$2 from the Reserve Fund to the Road Machinery Account. A motion was made and so voted to transfer from the Reserve Fund, the sum of $507.$2 to the Road Machinery account. A letter from the Board of Selectmen requesting the Appropriation Committee to consider a transfer of $1,023 .65 from the Reserve Fund to the Elections- Jurisdiction Selectmen account and another transfer of $$50.00 from the Reserve Fund to the Selectmen's expense account. There are nine men at the station on Bedford St. and four men at East Lexington per shift. It was stated that the firemen cannot paint outside of building unless they have a license.
