AGENDA ITEM#2 (7:16PM) <br /> Continued hearing regarding the roofline change at 7 Angier Road <br /> APPLICANT (S) PRESENT: <br /> Kiangtay Huang <br /> ABUTTER(S) PRESENT: <br /> Jonathan Fleischmann, 8 Angier Road <br /> DOCUMENT(S): <br /> Photos of existing structure <br /> Power point presentation <br /> Existing and proposed elevations dated August 181h 2021 <br /> SUMMARY: <br /> Mr. Huang came to the Commission last month for a roofline change at 7 Angier Road. Mr. <br /> Huang listened to the Commission's comments and made changes to the proposed plans. Mr. <br /> Huang has now scaled down the addition relative to the existing house. <br /> HC COMMENTS: <br /> Ms. Fenollosa thanked Mr. Huang for listening to the Commission's comments from last month, <br /> and feels the design is much improved and more in keeping with mid-century modern <br /> architecture. Mr. Kalsow echoed Ms. Fenollosa but asked if Mr. Huang could make a few <br /> changes: Matching existing siding with vertical siding, having the front addition project no more <br /> than 8 feet in front of original house, and having the height of proposed roof not to exceed 6 feet <br /> above existing the roofline. The Commission agreed with Mr. Kalsow's comments. <br /> PUBLIC COMMENTS: <br /> Mr. Fleischmann has lived in the neighborhood for 40 years. Mr. Fleischmann had many updates <br /> to his home around 1990, increasing the square footage by 50% and raising the roofline (in the <br /> rear) by one foot. Mr. Fleischmann appreciated Mr. Kalsow's comments which help with his <br /> own concerns of the proposed work. <br /> MOTION: <br /> Moved by Mr. Kalsow find 7 Angier Road preferably preserved and approve the plans presented <br /> to the meeting with the following modifications: <br /> 1. The siding on front of the addition will be vertical wood siding to match the existing house <br />
