The meeting convened at 7:03PM <br /> Historical Commission Members in Attendance: <br /> Marilyn Fenollosa, Chair, Wendall Kalsow, Susan Bennett, David Kelland and Robert Rotberg <br /> AGENDA ITEM#1 (7:05PM) <br /> Discussion and Vote on FY23 CPA funding for conservation of historic documents <br /> APPLICANT (S) PRESENT: <br /> Lee Yates, Archivist <br /> DOCUMENT(S): <br /> -1927 blueprints for the Cary Memorial Building <br /> -Tax Warrants and Acts of Massachusetts, 1778-1823 <br /> -Police Department Journal, 1874-1909 <br /> SUMMARY: <br /> Ms. Yates came to the Commission to ask for their support for the proposed CPA funding of <br /> $20,000 to preserve and digitize the town's historic documents. Ms. Yates went over the <br /> documents that need to be preserved and digitized. <br /> HC COMMENTS: <br /> The Commission feels these documents are important and support this need. <br /> MOTION: <br /> Moved by Ms. Bennett to find the following documents to be "Historic resources" within the <br /> meaning of the Community Preservation Act and support the proposed CPA funding of <br /> continuing to preserve and digitize the town's historic documents: <br /> -1927 blueprints for the Cary Memorial Building <br /> -Tax Warrants and Acts of Massachusetts, 1778-1823 <br /> -Police Department Journal, 1874-1909 <br /> Seconded by Mr. Kelland <br /> VOTE: <br /> 4-0 In favor: Ms. Bennett, Mr. Kelland, Mr. Rotberg and Ms. Fenollosa <br />
