Meeting opened by Ms. Barry at 3:37 pm <br /> 2. Motion to accept minutes from last meeting by Ms. Barry, seconded by Paul <br /> O'Shaughnessy, approved unanimously <br /> 3. Florence DelSanto was asked about Lex Media help in promoting a promotional video <br /> for Lex250. Paul O'Shaughnessy suggested contacting Rick Beyer, Barry Cunha the <br /> Lexington Historical Society, and Ms. Fallick and Lex Media for video that may already be <br /> present from prior events such as Lex 300th to place in the promotional video. Mr. <br /> Conners suggested also looking at other States Rev 250 sites for any ideas, and gave as <br /> an example the web site address for america250.org. The length of the video was <br /> discussed with the consensus being that it be longer than one minute but less than five <br /> minutes. The hope is that it can be ready in time for Patriots' Day. Ms. DelSanto will <br /> coordinate with Steve Cole on specifics for the video, such as who is to write the script, <br /> produce it. Ms. Barry stated that there is a movement to coordinate marketing and <br /> promotion efforts with the surrounding towns of Lincoln, Concord, Bedford, Arlington, <br /> Hanscom Field and the Minuteman National Park, but not infringe on each towns' <br /> unique planned events. <br /> 4. Sean Duggan was asked how to handle all the marketing and communication needs for <br /> promoting and getting the word out about Lex250 and to do so in partnership with the <br /> towns mentioned above. He stated that the town already has several web domain <br /> names it owns such as Iex250.com, net, and org., all of which would be available to us. <br /> Ms. Barry asked how we would use the website and Mr. Duggan said the usual way was <br /> to tie it into the town website. She also suggested contacting the committee in charge <br /> of the Plymouth 400 for ideas and recommendations. Ms. Roy emphasized the need to <br /> promote Lex250 on all social media sites such as twitter, Facebook, etc. Mr. Duggan <br /> stressed the need of having a point person in charge of the website to handle content, <br /> logistics and maintenance etc. <br /> 5. The logo contest is in full swing. In coordination with the town counsel and trademark <br /> questions three documents were sent to our committee pertaining to all aspects of the <br /> logo contest.
