Furash, Chairman, Peter Hall, Vice Chairman- <br /> Gen. Gov't. , Donald White , Vice Chairman-Schools, <br /> Mitzi Kutchin, Patricia Hagedorn, John Blaisdell, <br /> Secretary <br /> I . RECREATION <br /> a. Budget <br /> 1974-$193,000 <br /> Survey - indicated the Town would approve $120,000 <br /> to 135,000 increase above the current operations <br /> budget. The median figure was $136,000. <br /> Operating Budget - $110,000 <br /> 125,000 in Capital Expenditures <br /> Total: 235,000 <br /> Five Year Plan: $1,175,000 <br /> b. Pool <br /> The present pool will not be of any value after 2 or <br /> 3 years - #1 priority. <br /> c . Playfields <br /> #7 priority <br /> The present fields are now in need of repairs. Funds <br /> will be asked for at this Town Meeting. <br /> d. Tennis <br /> #3 priority <br /> Present facilities do not meet the demand. Four additional <br /> courts at Diamond Jr. High. <br /> e . Community Center <br /> #2 priority <br /> Oriented toward senior citizens, teenagers and those with <br /> special needs. Hopefully this center could be set up in <br /> • a closed school building. A sub-committee has been set up <br /> to study this project. <br />
