The meeting convened at 7:02PM. <br /> Historical Commission Members in Attendance: <br /> Marilyn Fenollosa, Chair, Wendall Kalsow, Susan Bennett, Diane Pursley and Katie Flynn <br /> Remote: David Kelland, Robert Rotberg <br /> AGENDA ITEM#1 (7:11PM) <br /> Public hearing regarding the partial building demolition and roofline change at 35 Peacock Farm <br /> Road <br /> APPLICANT (S) PRESENT: <br /> Dan Hisel, Architect <br /> ABUTTER(S) PRESENT: <br /> None <br /> DOCUMENT(S): <br /> Existing and proposed elevations dated May 19th 2021 <br /> Approval letter from Peacock Farm Association <br /> SUMMARY: <br /> The Quinlan family has lived at 35 Peacock Farm Road for about ten years. They are proposing <br /> an accessory dwelling for their parents to live in. The primary constraint for the project is the <br /> presence of wetlands in the area. The design was approved by the Conservation Commission. <br /> Mr. Hisel described the proposed plans for 35 Peacock Farm Road. The applicants are proposing <br /> to renovate the existing garage and turn it into an expanded living room and an entry for the <br /> accessory dwelling. Upstairs they are proposing to move two of the bedrooms into the addition <br /> on the front of the house and expanding a primary bedroom. Exterior materials: proposing clad <br /> and dark painted standing seam metal which will also help with cost savings. The Peacock Farm <br /> Association did approve the project. <br /> HC COMMENTS: <br /> Ms. Bennett asked if any other Peacock Farm homes have this type of materials. Mr. Hisel said <br /> no but looked at the Peacock Farm Association guidelines which dictated a certain percentage of <br /> 1 <br />
