RECEIVED <br /> Monuments & Memorials Committee 2021 0 IIP°lee, 213 Ipui °m <br /> MeetingMinutes TOWN CLERK <br /> LEXINGTON MA <br /> Thursday, November 4, 2021 <br /> 7:00 PM <br /> For this meeting the TCC is convening by video conference by the application Zoom <br /> as posted on the Town's website identifying how the public may join.* <br /> Members Present <br /> Linda Dixon, Chair; Glen Bassett, Bebe Fallick, George Gamota, Danjun Pu, Charlie Price <br /> Members Not Present <br /> Leslie Masson, Charles French, Avram Baskin <br /> Guests <br /> Doug Lucente, Vice Chair, Select Board <br /> Dawn McKenna, Chair, Tourism Committee <br /> Business <br /> Linda Dixon convened the meeting at 7:00 p.m. <br /> Approval of Minutes of September 30, 2021 <br /> Upon motion moved and seconded, the minutes of September 30, 2021 were approved by roll <br /> call vote. <br /> John Frey Memorial Marker <br /> Linda reported that the Monuments and Memorials Committee forwarded its report to the Select <br /> Board recommending approval. At a regular meeting of the Select Board on October 25, 2021, the <br /> Board voted unanimously to approve the installation of the marker. <br /> Lafayette Historical Marker <br /> Following a previous Committee vote of approval, Marcia Baker agreed to a slight change in the <br /> location of the marker with the Tourism Committee, necessitating another committee vote. Tourism <br /> Chair Dawn McKenna explained the Unified Signage Program and how the Lafayette Sign will <br /> mesh with it. She showed photos of the new site, located a few feet into Belfry Park. When the <br /> Lafayette sign arrives, it will be installed promptly. Upon motion moved and seconded, the motion <br /> to accept the new location was unanimously approved by roll call vote. Linda will draft the formal <br /> committee report to the Select Board. <br />
