<br /> PUBLIC MEETING NOTICE <br /> HISTORIC DISTRICT COMMISSION <br />Meeting broadcasted by LexMedia <br />Minutes of Thursday, July 9, 2015 <br />Department of Public Facilities, First Floor Training Room, <br /> 201 Bedford Street, Lexington, MA <br />7:00 PM <br />Commissioners present: Lynn Hopkins, Chairperson, Britta McCarthy, Paul Ross, Robert Warshawer and Anne Eccles <br />Associate Commissioners, Marilyn Fenollosa, Nancy Shepard and Robin Lovett <br />Department Clerk: Linda Rainville <br />FORMAL HEARINGS <br />7:00 PM <br />6 Bruce Road: <br />Anne Nuss, presented plans to have cedar fence installed at her residence. The fence will have a natural <br />finish, pyramid post caps. Ms. Nuss will send the manufacturer name and style of fence to L. Rainville <br />All in favor <br />7:10 PM <br />5 Hancock Avenue: <br /> Bill Hubner, Incite Architecture, representing <br />Mia Shapiro, presented plans for an addition to <br />the existing house. The addition includes a two car garage. The existing windows will stay. <br />All in favor <br />7:20 PM <br />1 Oakland St: <br /> Colin Smith, exterior architectural changes in the Battle Green District MOVED TO AUGUST <br />7:30 PM <br />2-4 Wallis Court: <br /> Colin Smith, presented plans to replace two rear entry doors with two panel, painted, wood doors. <br />Also would like to replace windows in kind (Windsor wood window). Mr. Smith will return to the HDC with sample of <br />the window. Mr. Smith also presented plans to repaint the house, the same color as exists. <br />All in favor <br />7:40 PM <br />1048 Massachusetts Avenue: <br /> Nick Atshartous, exterior architectural changes in the East Village District MOVED TO <br />AUGUST <br />7:50 PM <br />1656 Massachusetts Avenue: <br /> Mark Connor presented a plan to install a 3’6” x 1’5” blade sign. The sign will be hung <br />as demonstrated on the plan. <br />All in favor <br />8:00 PM <br />43 Waltham Street: <br /> Peter Darlow, presented plans to move the existing entrance door to where the entrance door is for <br />Tutto Restaurant. The will fill in the area where the present door. Also they would like to move the sign that exist over <br />the door to over the new entranceway. <br />All in favor <br />8:10 PM <br />40 Hancock Street: <br /> Mr. Peter Daus Haberly representing Jane and Stephen Williamson, presented plans to renovate the <br />carriage house.
