<br /> <br /> <br />Minutes <br />Town Celebrations Committee <br />February 6, 2013 <br />Training Room, Room 201, Hadley Public Services Building <br /> <br />Members Present <br />Suzie Barry, Dick Crogan, Linda Dixon, Mary Gillespie, Jo-Anne Granger, Sondra Lucente, Barbara <br />Manfredi, Julie Miller, Wayne Miller, Bill Mix, Henry Murphy, Sandy Podgorski, Charlie Price and <br />Bob Tracey <br /> <br />Members Not Present <br />Paul Jenkins and Dave Taylor <br /> <br />Business <br /> <br />Suzie Barry convened the meeting at 7 pm. <br /> <br /> <br />Minutes of January 23, 2013 were approved with changes. <br /> <br /> <br />The new meeting schedule was reviewed. <br /> <br /> <br />Mary Gillespie invited the committee to participate in the Lexington Remembers <br /> <br />program. Lexington Remembers is interested in preserving the Town Celebrations <br />Committee’s history by talking with members about its formation, mission, connection <br />th <br />to the 300 event, etc. Membership is enthusiastic and accepts the invitation. All <br />th <br />programs taped this year will become part of the 300 celebration record. Mary will <br />make arrangements for the interview. <br /> <br />Patriots’ Day 2013 <br /> <br />Volunteers. Suzie reminded the committee that we will need a lot of help on parade <br /> <br />day. <br /> <br />Other Lexingtons. Lexingtons nationwide were invited to our celebrations but none yet <br /> <br />have accepted. Any who do come will be given VIP status. <br /> <br />Marching Units. Suzie has asked Jeff Leonard to help find high school bands that might <br /> <br />be available to march. <br /> <br />List of Invitees. The usual list of folks will be invited, including Governor Patrick. <br /> <br />Invitations will be ready next week for mailing. <br /> <br /> <br />
