<br /> <br />Lexington Housing Partnership <br /> Meeting Minutes for February 25, 2010 <br /> <br />Attendees: <br /> <br />Winifed McGowan, Bill Kennedy, Ken Kreutziger, Jeri Foutter, Florence Baturin, Wendy Manz, Bob <br />Bicknell, Melinda Walker, Tom Harden, Julie Duncan, Mary Haskell, Florence Baturin, Harriet Cohen <br /> <br />Bob Bicknell chaired the meeting; Harriet Cohen took the minutes. The meeting was called to order at <br />7:35 pm. <br /> <br />1. Open Meeting <br />Approval of Minutes for January 2010: The motion to approve the minutes passed. <br /> <br />Mr. Bicknell moved that the Charge for the Lexington Affordable Housing Partnership (“the <br /> <br />Partnership”) be modified to better reflect the current membership, with the Charge as: <br />Government entities: 3 members, 6 Liaisons; Non-Governmental entities: 18 Members (to be <br />appointed by the Board of Selectmen) 5 Members (Banker, <br />Developer/Builder/Architect/Attorney; 13 Members (General Affordable Housing Advocates) <br /> <br />The motion was approved unanimously. <br /> <br />Nominating Committee Plans <br /> The Nominating Committee for the Lexington Housing Partnership is being formed. Ms. <br /> <br />Baturin will chair the committee. Existing terms will be researched as part of the process. <br /> <br />2. Discuss Report for 2010 Town Meeting <br />Mr. Bicknell distributed copies of the proposed Annual Report to Town Meeting by the Lexington <br />Housing Partnership. The committee reviewed the proposed wording and provided several updates. <br />Mr. Bicknell moved that the updated wording be approved for submission to the Town of <br />Lexington. The motion passed unanimously. <br /> <br />3. Support of Town Warrant Articles <br />The Partnership discussed its position on the Article 8 of the Town Warrant. Article 8 lists the <br />projects approved for funding by the Community Preservation Committee. The Partnership agreed <br />to indicate its support of Project 8d, Greeley Village Siding Replacement; 8e Vynebrook Village <br />Drainage Project – Design Study; and 8f, LexHAB Purchase of Two Affordable Housing <br />Properties. <br />Mr. Kennedy moved that the Partnership support Article 8d, 8e and 8f. The motion was approved <br />unanimously. <br />Ms. Duncan moved that the Partnership support Article 43, to amend the zoning by-law for 425 <br />Woburn Street: land rezoning. The rezoning would permit the construction of a multi-family <br />building containing small single floor residential units. The motion was approved unanimously. <br /> <br />4. Reports <br />Report from Lexington Housing Foundation – Ms Foutter <br /> Ms. Foutter distributed the Lexington Housing Foundation, Inc. Financial Report. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
